Pro-Walker Protester Gets in the Mix at Clinton’s Barrett Rally

Friday, June 1st, 2012

Watch this video of a Gov. Scott Walker-supporting marine getting in the mix at today’s Bill Clinton rally for Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett in Wisconsin, days before the recall vote.

And then watch this exclusive video of his arrest for civil unrest.

  1. Neil Kosterman says:

Outrageous! The Cop was totally out of line. The Marine had every right to protest. I can only assume that the cops are union and that was their way of “protecting their own.” I saw them (the union cops) in action last year at the Sara Palin attended rally in Madison. Truly disgusting. Hopefully, this guy has a bona fide lawsuit against them, which would serve them right.

  2. Neil Kosterman says:

Where’s the rest of the story? Wouldn’t a true journalist go to the cop shop to see what they did with the guy? Why don’t we get the followup this story deserves?

  3. Jeff Davis says:

I can’t believe this! Everyone should be outraged by the behavior of these policemen, including the anti-Walker demonstrators. This man was peacefully demonstrating, he kept his cool, and in no way deserved to be hauled off in handcuffs. I hope he sues the city and wins millions!

  4. Bryn says:

I am for Barrett, but this was totally not ok, that cop was looking to make a show.

  5. Zeek says:

    Neil:

True journalists are very scarce when it comes to this recall election.

  6. Tom Russell says:

When will we see this video on the nightly news? Where is the ACLU defending this persons right to protest? Hopefully he sues the cops and the city for false arrest.

  7. Angela Marchetti says:

This goes to show me what I have felt all along…….. These crowds act like a bunch of “ignorant’ bullies if disagreed with. This marine did nothing to truly bring on this arrest. And that cop was totally OUT of ORDER……. It was probably more about BILL CLINTON being there……than about what was right or wrong.

  8. Mike in VA says:

I would say the rest of the story is coming, this is only the beginning

  9. gary allen says:

This is disgusting!!!!! How we watched teachers with horns blowing during Scott Walker speeches and nothing was done. And then the venom from those around him…and they say they are peaceful!

  10. gary allen says:

I would sue the city of Milwaukee!!

  11. Kidsafeplayhouses says:

Neil, Welcome the the lefty MSM… there isn’t a chance in hell that any “news” organization will cover this story….

    Rather sad

  12. MHF says:

Because there is no story. The guy was an obvious plant, instructed to be in your face, obnoxious and not listen to any security as he got far too close to Clinton. It’s another one of Walker’s dirty tricks to spin the focus on the poor suffering conservatives & their ‘rights’ being violated.

  13. Chris says:

I love the infantile harassment chants of those people at the end of the last video. Almost sounds like “off with his head”, eerie, isn’t it?

  14. ExDumbocrat says:

Total f ing hypocrisy! EVERYONE on this video BUT the protester is an anti-American. This is so f ing typical. Get as much mileage as you can from this.

  15. George says:

Perhaps if he’d have been using the “F” word, and shouting, “Shame, Shame, Shame” the cops would have just left him alone like they did the Madistan protesters when they confronted a 14-year old girl.

I guess this is what democracy looks like. I’m sure glad we have a representative republic, not a democracy.

  16. max pain says:

seems he didn’t follow the polices direction and the cops took the correct course of action and used the correct amount of force in this case. You cannot just disregard instructions that the police give you. It is their job to “keep the peace” The officers acted correctly and show admirable restraint in dealing with this person who obviously was disturbing the peace and guily of disorderly conduct.

    Whoever, in a public or
private place, engages in violent, abusive, indecent, profane, boisterous,
unreasonably loud or otherwise disorderly conduct under
circumstances in which the conduct tends to cause or provoke a
disturbance is guilty of a Class B misdemeanor.

  17. Interesting. The one cop physically assaults the Marine and then the Marine is told he is threatening by waving his finger within his own personal space. If I was a true blue ACLU lawyer I would be suing the city, police, and officers on behalf of the Marine. OOOPS, I forgot the Marine is white, non union, and didn’t say “Can’t we all just get along”.

  18. Chefm says:

The cop with the stripes should be stripped of his badge. He is unfit to be a public servant who took an oath to defend the Constitution. The other cop was just following orders, but obviously too much of a coward to stand up for what’s right. A huge law suit is in order, if only to remove theses officers from a job they aren’t qualified to do.

  20. Bob says:

I don’t have speakers so I am reading the body language and it tells me these police don’t want free speech. They took him down because he pointed a finger at the cop! Wonder what happened to the woman who threatened him with the same finger. By the way Mr. Policeman, don’t break his arm…Marines, even those in action, have to pay for their health insurance unlike most of the police unions in the US.

  21. jmikey949 says:

This is the “Police State” in action, and the idiots cheering on his arrest do not realise it could just as easily be them being falsely arrested…we have allowed the police departments in this country TOO MUCH POWER! Wake up people, the police are not your allies, they are out of control and must be stopped…definitely arm and defend yourselves because it will come to that eventually!

  22. Karl Krautner says:

Isn’t it convenient how the part of the video between the obviously mild-mannered vet’s civilized discussion with fellow demonstrators and the moment at which the officer decides to move him out of the crowd is missing?

We really don’t know why the office decided to pull him out, do we? What we do know, however, is that a man how was not identified, being the only person around wearing sunglasses in an overcast scene and with a camera crew in tow was trolling demonstrators. The other thing we know is that edited footage is presented in a way that intentionally omits the moments leading up to the vet being pull out of the demonstration.

I don’t want to generalize too much, but since the Brooks Brothers Riots in 2000 I have become very suspicious of video taped events involving “activists”, “demonstrators” and “regular citizens”. And until I see the missing footage, I’m gonna err on side of caution and suspect that there very well may have been a reason other than the vet’s opinion for the officer to remove him.

  23. Dave says:

This happened in Milwaukee and Barrett is Milwaukee’s mayor. GO WALKER!

  24. Danny Smith says:

This is typical behavior of thugs behind badges all across the country. We have no rights anymore other than what the communists and their union knuckle-draggers believe we have.

Hell is coming to breakfast folks!

  25. Where’s the follow-up story? Everybody is interested to know if the cop violates the pro-Walker marine’s rights. What happened to that guy? What’s the reaction of Walker on this issue. This is news!

  26. barrbie says:

  27. Chancellor Palpatine says:

The reason you don’t have the MPD’s perspective, the Democrat, I mean Police Chief Flynn placed a gag order on the entire incident. Several radio stations have filed Freedom of Information requests for the Police Reports only to be stone walled.

  28. Kevin Malone says:

My Dad was a volunteer firefighter and Chief of the Ambulance Crew for the Seaford Volunteer Fire Department. He was not a union member and neither were the other brave men and women of his time that served as volunteer firefighters for our community and surrounding communities in Sussex County. Moreover, they received outstanding training from the State of Delaware on a recurring basis. Taxpayers supported this use of their tax dollars, because it directly impacted their lives in a positive way. Furthermore, they could see the fruits of their labor when volunteer firefighters made the call in the middle of the night or day to extinguish fires and save lives. Forgive me, but I am sick and tired of the whining from Public Sector Unions and their members. One more thing, when they made their annual weekend jaunt to New York City, they paid for it themselves…not by “stealing” taxpayer dollars!!! Governor Walker’s victory tomorrow will send a message to all who still believe in the Hope and Change mantra that Obama spewed four years ago. Like The Chambers Brothers sang years ago, time has come today!!!

  29. InfoWarrior says:

You not required to follow a Police order that is neither lawful nor legal.

    See http://www.faqs.org/faqs/law/lawful-arrest/

Any “law” which is inconsistent with the Constitution is
not law, but a “de jure” imposter, which may have the
appearance or “color” of law, but is not “de facto” law.
What if a police officer, judge, or other government agent
    violates the Constitution?

“If they are violating their oath to uphold the
Constitution, then they commit an act of treason.
If they use weapons and violence to commit treason, then
they commit an act of war. If she is held captive by
an act of war, then she is a Prisoner of War” — Farrell
Montgomery, when asked why he was flying a POW/MIA flag
near Shirley Allen’s house, Roby Illinois, Oct 1997

  30. This whole thing is totally un american I think I’ll avoid wisconsin in any furture traval.that was so damning to police and the city and the union and to Bubba, the guest
