Thursday, October 19th, 2017

The Franklin Center for Government and Public Integrity is pleased to announce and welcome Danielle Behler as Director of Development.

“As I’ve met with donors around the country, everyone shares one common complaint: the extreme bias of legacy media,” Behler said. “Franklin’s commitment to always present news from the taxpayer’s perspective is very much needed today. And I’m honored to be a part of Franklin’s efforts in changing the media narrative.”

Behler will be responsible for growing the Center’s national major giving program, overseeing foundation relations, and managing the direct mail campaigns.

Behler brings to the Franklin Center more than 10 years of free-market fundraising experience. She has built development programs from the ground up, as well as taken established organizations to the next level. These groups include the John Hancock Committee for the States, the Goldwater Institute, Young America’s Foundation, and most recently, FreedomWorks.

Prior to her career in free-market fundraising, she served four years in the office of former Senator Jeff Sessions from Alabama.

Behler received a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Auburn University. She is a native of Alabama, and currently resides in Alexandria, Virginia.

The Franklin Center for Government & Public Integrity is committed to creating non-partisan journalism focused on restoring oversight of state governments and holding politicians and bureaucrats at all levels accountable for their handling of taxpayer dollars. Reporting by the Franklin Center has uncovered significant misconduct, whistleblower retaliation, a university admission scandal, and has driven legislative action.
